Claire Alajooz is an experienced Skin Specialist and Member of the Faculty of Physician Associates at the Royal College of Physicians. She graduated from King’s College London in 2007 and completed her clinical training at St George’s University London, attaining her national certification in 2010.
Since then, Claire has worked in General Practice, where she developed a strong interest in Dermatology and Aesthetic Medicine. She is fully certified in Minor Surgery and in a variety of aesthetic treatments.
In 2016, Claire began her Dermatology training at St Mary’s Hospital under the supervision of consultant Dr Sarwant Shah. During this time, she developed in-depth knowledge of lesion recognition, skin disease management and minor surgical procedures, including running independent minor surgery lists.
More recently, Claire has worked within the Bedford Hospital Dermatology outpatient department alongside managing her own minor surgery lists in general practice. She also received a distinction from the University of Cardiff in the Dermascopy Diploma and has completed the nationally recognised course in Minor Surgery.
