Dr Lauay Hassan is an experienced Skin Surgeon with more than 15 years of surgical practice. He holds advanced surgical qualifications and is both a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and a Member of the Royal College of Surgeons.
Alongside his clinical work, Dr Hassan has previously worked as an associate surgical trainer and clinical educator for the Royal College of Surgeons, helping to support the training and development of other surgical professionals.
Dr Hassan currently works within NHS Primary Care and provides minor skin surgery for a range of common concerns. He takes a careful and considered approach to treatment, with particular attention to surgical technique, clear communication and appropriate follow-up care.
His calm bedside manner helps patients understand what their procedure involves, what they can realistically expect and how to look after the area during recovery.
